*becomes serious* Celebrimbor struck me as a nice, unassuming fellow for an Elf, especially one so accomplished. But his calling of his rings back to himself worries me. It seems to me art should be generative, not hoarded. I hope he's just collecting them to make an accounting of them and have a reunion of sorts, but if he doesn't dispense them to others, I don't think much good can come of that. Feanor, on the other hand . . . is not an unassuming person, but I suppose such a creator doesn't need to be . . . which may be how everyone has always treated him . . . and how he got the way he did . . . one wonders what some thousands of additional years has taught him. I was unexpectedly pleased by his interest in our doings. That's the most curious I've ever seen an Elf about those different from himself. It's not the same as actually caring about others, but it is a start.
